Retail Running Ambassador
Overview
The run ambassador at House of Sport by DICK'S Sporting Goods is a technically focused role centered around providing a differentiated athlete experience specifically to runners. This individual will pull from personal experiences and industry research/trends to provide strong product recommendations to athletes. Responsibilities include conducting gait analysis, recommending appropriate running products, translating product technology to meet athlete needs, fully outfitting athletes with footwear and accessories, and creating a tailored consultative experience.
Responsibilities
- Pull from personal experiences to recommend runner best practices/suggestions (e.g., warm-up and cool-down techniques, running improvement plans, running form, stretches, etc.)
- Ensure product recommendations benefit/align with the athlete's running goals
- Conduct gait analysis and recommend appropriate running products
- Translate product technology to align with athlete needs and preferences
- Provide a tailored consultative experience to customers
- Maintain merchandise presentation standards and signage
- Support the team across the stores
- Participate in training materials sharing and education
- Adapt sales style appropriately
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of Retail or Footwear experience preferred, but not required

Pay & Benefits
Targeted Pay Range: $15.50 - $24.25. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered.
