Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Partner with Retail leaders and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Manage full life-cycle recruiting for assigned Retail positions, from job posting and sourcing through offer acceptance.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, community partnerships, and other recruiting channels.
  • Review applications and conduct initial phone/video interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Manage job postings, candidate pipelines, and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Provide guidance and training to hiring managers regarding recruiting, interviewing, selection processes, and effective use of the ATS.
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain timely communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruiting process.
  • Prepare, extend, and facilitate employment offers in accordance with established compensation guidelines and approval processes.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for frequently hired and difficult-to-fill Retail positions.
  • Support hiring events, job fairs, seasonal hiring initiatives, and other high-volume recruiting activities.
  • Coordinate the employee referral program, including tracking eligible referrals and payments.
  • Prepare and communicate recruiting metrics, dashboards, open-position reports, and other staffing updates.
  • Identify recruiting trends and recommend strategies to improve candidate flow, time-to-fill, and overall hiring effectiveness.

HR Generalist Support

  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes and help ensure a consistent employee experience.
  • Serve as a resource to Retail employees and managers regarding routine HR policies, procedures, programs, and practices.
  • Provide initial support for employee relations matters and partner with the HR Director on more complex or sensitive issues.
  • Assist managers with routine performance management, attendance, policy interpretation, and employee documentation.
  • Provide guidance and support regarding benefits, leaves of absence, and other HR programs, escalating matters to the appropriate HR team member as needed.
  • Assist with HRIS employee data management and ensure employee information is accurate and timely.
  • Support training, employee engagement, retention, and other Retail HR initiatives.
  • Assist with HR projects, reporting, presentations, and other initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably including high-volume or multi-location recruiting, with exposure to HR generalist responsibilities.
  • Retail recruiting experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing full life-cycle recruiting and partnering directly with hiring managers.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms.
  • Experience working with an HRIS; experience with UKG and/or HiBob preferred, but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and open positions simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality when handling employee-related matters.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively partnering with a geographically dispersed Retail organization.

This position is expected to maintain a regular onsite presence at the corporate office and may require occasional travel to Retail locations, hiring events, or other Company locations.
