Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate activities related to retail pricing strategy, pricing systems, pricing support, reporting, analytics, price-zone maintenance, competitive monitoring, and retailer communication.
- Provide direction and support for administrative pricing functions, including price maintenance, item setup support, cost and retail change communication, pricing issue resolution, and store-level execution.
- Respond to inquiries from retailers, team members, and leaders regarding pricing strategy, system functionality, promotional pricing, cost changes, price exceptions, and price integrity concerns.
- Consult with retailers regarding pricing opportunities, gross margin performance, competitive positioning, promotional programs, and category management strategies.
- Assist in developing and maintaining retail pricing structures through market research, competitive analysis, margin review, store grouping, and zone strategy evaluation.
- Develop and communicate educational materials, presentations, and training resources related to pricing processes and strategies.
- Analyze consumer research, scanner data, competitive information, category performance, and profit and loss data to support pricing decisions.
- Prepare and review reports, analytics, and performance data used to evaluate pricing effectiveness and support business planning.
- Collaborate with internal departments, leadership teams, and retail partners to identify opportunities and implement pricing initiatives.
- Support department planning activities, monitor progress toward goals, and assist with special projects and business initiatives.
- Develop and support team members through ongoing training, coaching, and educational opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong understanding of retail grocery operations, pricing strategy, category management, and merchandising principles.
- Knowledge of profit and loss statements, margin management, and retail financial performance metrics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend pricing solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with retailers, leaders, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Position Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience: Five or more years of retail grocery experience preferred. Experience in grocery operations, general merchandise, receiving, scanning, pricing, merchandising, category management, or related functions is beneficial.
- Techincal Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the retail grocery industry, retail pricing practices, and corporate support functions preferred.
- Travel: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel as business needs require.
- Attendance: Regular on-site attendance is required.

Physical/Sensory Demands
- Work is performed primarily in an office environment with regular use of computer equipment, phones, and office technology.
- The position requires prolonged sitting, frequent communication with retailers and team members, and the ability to review and analyze large amounts of data.
- Occasional travel to retail locations, meetings, and company events may be required.
- Must be able to perform routine office activities, including typing, data entry, and participation in meetings and presentations.
