Retail Pharmacy Technician (Outpatient)

Schedule

Monday–Friday 9:00 am–5:30 pm
Saturday 9:00 am–1:00 pm
Full-time, 40 hours/week

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional working relationships with pharmacy personnel, physicians, nurses, and other medical personnel.
• Understand that pharmacy requirements are varied and may change as department demands shift.
• Be available to customers/patients at all times.
• Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude when dealing with customers.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Organize medications for pharmacist dispensing by profiling prescriptions, preparing labels, and calculating quantities.
• Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and ordering when needed.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Work with the pharmacy team to ensure best practices are followed with regard to 340B.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Current Pharmacy Technician License in Indiana
• At least 2 years of retail pharmacy technician-related experience, preferred
• May require vendor credentialing

Pay

Anticipated hourly range: $16.40 – $21.15
