Retail Pharmacy Technician
Job Overview
The Retail Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists with performing pharmacy-related duties. Under the direct supervision, the Pharmacy Technician performs packaging, manipulative, repetitive, or other nondiscretionary tasks within established standards and guidelines. The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for performing clerical functions.
Minimum Requirements
- A high school graduate or equivalent required.
- A Pharmacy Technician License through the California State Board of Pharmacy is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish, preferred.
- A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
Compensation
