About the role
This part-time Team Leader will provide training to enhance the team's ability to exceed high standards of customer service, product knowledge, and sales. You will be the face of our company, motivating and inspiring others to outstanding performance while fostering a positive, team-oriented, and safety-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Enhance profitable sales by regularly reviewing sales and margin information.
- Ensure effective space management techniques are used.
- Maintain the Store graphics system (including pricing) with a focus on customer service and maximizing profitable sales.
- Ensure all fixtures are always replenished.
- Evaluate and communicate competitor visual merchandising techniques to identify business development opportunities.
- Train Sales Associates on visual merchandising techniques according to LEGO® Brand Retail guidelines.
- Empower and develop a high-performance team by sharing the LEGO® Brand, Vision, and Values.
- Deliver inspirational retail experiences built on LEGO Brand Values.
- Provide leadership and management in a retail store environment.
- Deliver employee training.
- Handle cash and perform inventory/sales auditing.
- Operate point of sale automated systems.
- Maintain merchandise and visual merchandising standards.
Requirements
- Leadership and/or management experience in a retail store environment.
- Experience in delivering employee training.
- Experience with cash handling, inventory/sales auditing, and point of sale systems.
- Experience with merchandise maintenance and visual merchandising.
- Physical ability to constantly move, talk, hear, reach, grab, and stand for at least two consecutive hours.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
- Vision abilities including close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
- Must provide availability to work up to 30 hours per week, covering the full week and weekend with a minimum of 4 days.
Pay
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $27.64 to $30.84, based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints.
