Retail Part Time Team Lead
About the role
The Retail Team Lead at Office Depot is a part-time role responsible for providing "total solutions" to customers, covering products, technology, services, furniture, and print offerings. This role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, supporting sales, engaging with the local community, and contributing to a positive culture aligned with the Office Depot 5C values.
Responsibilities
Support efficient operation of the Print Services area, ensuring correct and timely completion of customer orders.
Operate and assist associates with all equipment in the Print Services area.
Communicate effectively to request assistance and coordinate service for customers.
Ensure operational efficiency by processing merchandise accurately and adhering to established procedures and deadlines.
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and inefficiencies.
Drive positive client satisfaction levels through coaching and training associates.
Engage in community outreach initiatives to retain clients.
Develop personal selling skills and product knowledge using provided tools.
Perform external key carrier responsibilities, including opening and closing the store, and assist in cash handling and audits.
Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through various initiatives.
Assist in loss prevention compliance and store operations.
Participate in Leader on Duty functions.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent education preferred. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in related fields, such as sales or customer service, is preferred. Basic computer skills and the ability to use computers and technology for information access are necessary. Skilled in customer service and print services experience is desired. Must possess advanced selling skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, adaptability to a changing environment, and the ability to assist others professionally. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Ability to process information/merchandise through POS register systems is needed. Must pay close attention to detail to ensure high-quality production in the Print Services area.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
The salary range for this role is 15.00/hr to 15.75/hr, with adjustments made based on state and local minimum wages. The company offers a benefits package that includes a 401(k) and more, along with ample opportunity for advancement within the organization.
