About the role

The Retail Team Lead at Office Depot is a part-time role responsible for providing "total solutions" to customers, covering products, technology, services, furniture, and print offerings. The role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, supporting sales, engaging with the local community, and contributing to a positive culture aligned with the Office Depot 5C values.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Print Sales and Services: Support efficient operation in the Print function, drive store sales, operate and assist associates on all equipment, and communicate effectively to request assistance and coordinate service.

  • Operational Efficiency: Accurately and efficiently process merchandise, adhere to procedures, deadlines, and visual merchandising standards, identify process improvements, and ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Client Engagement: Enhance customer satisfaction through coaching and training, support community outreach, and develop personal selling skills and product knowledge.

  • External Key Carrier and Leader on Duty: Ensure safety and security during the absence of management, support loss prevention, perform opening/closing responsibilities, and assist in cash handling and audits.

Education & Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with 1-3 years of related experience in sales or customer service. Basic computer skills and ability to use job-related technology and POS systems are required.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule

The salary range for this role is $14.54/hour to $18.15/hour, with a competitive benefits package including a 401(k) plan and opportunities for growth within the organization.
