Retail Part Time Team Lead
About the role
The Retail Team Lead at Office Depot is a part-time role responsible for providing “total solutions” to customers, covering products, technology, services, furniture, and print offerings. The role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, supporting sales offerings, and contributing to a positive culture aligned with the Office Depot 5C values.
Primary Responsibilities
Print Sales and Services: Support efficient operation while driving overall store sales. Operate and assist associates on all equipment within the Print Services area, ensuring correct and timely completion of customer orders.
Operational Efficiency: Accurately process merchandise, adhere to established procedures, deadlines, and visual merchandising standards. Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and inefficiencies.
Client Engagement: Drive positive client satisfaction levels through coaching and training associates. Support community outreach initiatives to retain clients. Continuously develop personal selling skills and product knowledge.
External Key Carrier and Leader on Duty: Ensure safety and security during the absence of management. Monitor key performance indicators, provide guidance, and manage opening/closing responsibilities, including cash handling, register voids, and tax exemptions.
Education & Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with 1-3 years of related experience, preferably in sales or customer service. Basic computer skills and ability to use job-related technology and POS systems are required.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
The salary range for this role is $15.00/hour to $17.81/hour, with compliance with state and local minimum wages. The company offers a competitive salary, a benefits package including a 401(k), and opportunities for growth within the organization.
