Retail Part Time Team Lead
About the role
The Retail Team Lead at Office Depot provides "total solutions" to customers, covering products, technology, services, furniture, and print offerings. Responsibilities
- Support efficient operation in the Print function to drive overall store sales.
- Operate and assist associates on all equipment within the Print Services area, ensuring correct and timely completion of customer orders.
- Communicate effectively to request assistance and coordinate service for all customers.
- Process merchandise accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures and deadlines.
- Identify and implement plans to reduce waste and inefficiencies, ensuring compliance with loss prevention policies.
- Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, AOV, and customer satisfaction improvement initiatives.
- Drive positive client satisfaction levels by coaching and training associates to enhance the customer experience.
- Support community outreach initiatives to retain clients.
- Continuously develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through provided tools.
- Ensure safety and security during the absence of the management team, performing opening or closing responsibilities as needed.
- Perform external key carrier responsibilities, including opening/closing duties and assisting with cash handling, cashier, and merchandise error logs.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; 1-3 years related experience in sales or customer service; basic computer skills; ability to use job-related technology and POS systems; attention to detail; experience in Print Services is preferred.
