Retail Part Time Team Lead
About the role
The Retail Team Lead at Office Depot provides "total solutions" to customers, covering products, technology, services, furniture, and print offerings. They build and maintain customer relationships, becoming a trusted advisor through provided training, supporting sales offerings, and engaging with the local community.
Responsibilities
- Support efficient operation in the Print function, driving overall store sales.
- Operate and assist associates on all equipment within the Print Services area, ensuring correct and timely completion of customer orders.
- Communicate effectively within the Print Services area to request assistance and coordinate service for customers.
- Process merchandise accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures and deadlines.
- Identify and implement plans to reduce waste and inefficiencies, ensuring compliance with loss prevention policies.
- Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, AOV, and customer satisfaction improvement initiatives.
- Drive positive client satisfaction levels by coaching and training associates to enhance the customer experience.
- Support community outreach initiatives to drive client/customer retention.
- Continuously develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through provided sales and service tools.
- Perform external key carrier responsibilities, including opening and closing the store, driving awareness of key performance indicators, and assisting in cash handling and audit processes.
- Participate in Leader on Duty functions, ensuring the safety and security of the building and associates during the absence of the management team.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent education.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in related fields, such as sales or customer service.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to use computers and technology for information access.
- Skilled in Customer Service and Print Services experience is desired.
- Advanced selling skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to assist others in a professional environment.
- Pays close attention to detail to ensure high quality production in the Print Services area.
