Retail Operations Lead (Order Fulfillment)

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on leader with at least two years of experience in a fast-paced environment such as logistics, retail, or operations. This role requires flexibility, physical stamina, and the ability to work both independently and across multiple sites.

As our operations lead, you aren't just managing a floor; you're the captain of a high-tech launch site. You'll be the bridge between ground operations and flight, ensuring every package is prepped with precision and every drone is ready for departure.

Responsibilities

• Manage the onsite team and daily delivery operations.
• Coordinate the team for accurate order preparation, site readiness, and safety compliance.
• Act as the primary lead for people management and operational problem-solving.
• Interpret KPIs and performance metrics to drive daily operational excellence.
• Use data to influence performance, improve utilization, and support continuous improvement across the operation.
• Oversee morning setup, ensure the operational area is clean and safe, and inspect equipment functionality.
• Direct workflow for efficient order processing, conduct quality control (weight/accuracy), and supervise package loading onto aircraft.
• Supervise a small team, manage staff scheduling, and provide training/coaching on procedures.
• Lead site safety, conduct daily inventory counts, and manage incident resolution.
• Act as the team liaison to regional management, provide site performance updates, and identify process improvements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced setting (logistics, retail, operations).
• Strong communication and operational skills with attention to safety details.
• Experience managing an onsite team and daily delivery operations preferred.
• Experience leading or carrying out accurate order preparation, site readiness, and safety compliance.
• Flexibility, physical stamina, and the ability to work both independently and across multiple sites.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must have a valid driver's license and need to drive between sites for work.
• Must be able to work outdoors.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Must be able to push a 160 pound cart up a ramp.
• Must successfully complete local training.
• Availability is required between 6 AM and 10 PM, 7 days/week (maximum 40 hours / week).

Pay

Schedule

Rotating shifts
Availability required between 6 AM and 10 PM, 7 days/week (maximum 40 hours / week).
