Retail Operations Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Lead for our store leadership team at DICK’S Sporting Goods. This role impacts both the execution of our store's brand standards and the teammate experience.

Role Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operational aspects of their store department
• Plans and organizes with the guidance of Assistant Store Manager
• Holds team accountable for company brand, merchandising, and presentation standards
• Supports building and hiring a strong team and training associates on company procedures and programs
• Supports teammates in understanding how their responsibilities play a key role in the organization
• Supports the store in other tasks as needed

Leadership Responsibilities

• Leads by example to ensure a great customer experience
• Builds trust with teammates in the store
• Creates an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect

Qualifications

• Flexible availability - including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred
• Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment

Targeted Pay Range

The targeted pay range for this role is $15.50 - $23.50 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, and position offered.
