Retail Operations Coordinator - Reno, NV
About the role
The Retail Operations Coordinator supports the sales team by managing sales orders, coordinating with finance and logistics for timely invoicing and delivery, and maintaining sales documentation. This role generates and analyzes sales reports, tracks sales performance, and identifies trends or inefficiencies to drive improvements. The coordinator prepares forecasts, supports sales process optimization efforts, and implements new tools and technologies to enhance team productivity.
Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team with managing sales orders, processing quotes, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
- Cook with the finance and logistics departments to ensure timely invoicing and delivery of products.
- Support the sales team by preparing sales reports, tracking sales progress, and maintaining sales dashboards.
- Generate and review weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the sales process.
- Aid in the preparation of sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
- Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the sales process and recommend improvements.
- Work with the Sales Operations Manager to streamline processes and enhance team productivity.
- Aid in implementing new tools and technologies to improve sales operations.
Requirements
- Show strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reporting and documentation.
- Show proactive problem-solving abilities, particularly in logistics and shipment coordination.
- Show excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, professional documents.
- Show analytical skills to interpret data effectively and provide insightful recommendations.
- Show the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Show proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations support, administration, or a similar role.
- Show proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, with advanced skills in Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, and PowerPoint/Slides.
- Show experience in document drafting and procedure development.
- Show familiarity with KPI tracking and reporting.
- Preferred: Experience in logistics, shipping, or a related field, and familiarity with CRM systems or data management tools.
