Responsibilities

Retail Channel Execution

  • Own the execution and delivery of the Retail Marketing strategy for select National Key Accounts and support cross-account initiatives that scale across the channel and are aligned to brand and business objectives.
  • Act as a key driver of National Channel strategy execution, contributing retailer insights, leveraging performance data and marketing trends to help shape priorities, programs, and investment decisions.
  • Own end-to-end cross-functional tactical planning for key stories, partnering with Integrated Marketing and other NA Marketing channels to ensure alignment and execution across retail.
  • Partner in execution of go-to-market strategy for key National Accounts both internally, at sell-in and the presentation of our plans at bi-annual sales meetings and key account sell-ins.
  • Serve as subject matter expert of certain Key National Accounts, bringing deep understanding of the runner, retail landscape, and account needs to influence strategy and execution.
  • Partner with internal teams (i.e., Influencer, Integrated Marketing, Sports Marketing) to identify opportunities to scale successful strategies and programs across key accounts to improve efficiencies across ways of working.

Internal Influence & Alignment

  • Partner with National Sales Management team to align marketing strategies with business goals and retailer needs, acting as a key thought partner in account planning.
  • Partner with internal teams to identify opportunities to scale successful strategies and programs across key accounts.
  • Partner with internal teams, external agencies, and vendors to develop and manage program timelines, ensuring key stakeholders and channel owners provide feedback at designated gates and are kept well informed of progress.
  • Provide thought partnership to the Senior Retail Marketing Specialist and Retail Marketing Coordinator on select internal partnerships and ways of working.
  • Partner with internal Lifestyle team to identify areas of collaboration and execution across key emerging retailers.

Account Management

  • Act as the primary marketing contact with key account partners, and travel to presentations with Sales team as needed to present marketing programs designed to support increased sell-in and eventually sell-through.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or related field; equivalent combination of education and years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree(s).
  • 7+ years of experience in a retail marketing and/or integrating marketing role, preferably in an active lifestyle environment.
  • Understanding of budget management and sourcing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating effective listening through concise, clear verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company.
  • Keen attention to detail in planning, organization, and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how all the pieces fit together and affect one another.
  • Demonstration of innovation and initiative — always looking at improving our products and processes while also displaying a willingness to dive into the details and help wherever necessary.
  • Passionate participation in Brooks’ sports activities a plus, overridden by the ability to understand and empathize with the runner to develop loyal, engaging relationships with our customers and the Brooks community.
  • Travel 15% (domestically).

Pay

The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $110,571-$165,857 per year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
