Pay Range: $97,962.00 - $125,957.00

About the Role

Has primary responsibility for a branch and/or a group of branches. Is a role model in providing exceptional customer service while promoting and offering bank products and services, as they coincide with customer need. Responsible for the profitability, growth and successful operation of these branch offices. Leads, manages and coaches branch teams to achieve sales objectives and to deliver superior customer service. Makes outside business calls individually and with branch managers and other business partners to cultivate and develop new business. Represents the organization in a leadership role in civic and community functions to further enhance the bank’s image. Supports initiatives of other bank business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and guidance to branch managers in the areas of: sales, business development and the successful operations of their branch.
  • Ensures effective control of staffing and overall budgetary constraints.
  • Buils a motivated and high performing branch team through the effective recruitment, training and development of staff.
  • Represents the bank in the community and plays a leadership role on civic and community organizations.
  • Maintains integrity and compliance within the branches in their region in accordance with audit and branch operations policies and procedures.
  • Submits loan proposals within guidelines. Registered and complies with Safe Act guidelines. Provides customer complaint resolution exercising sound judgment and decision making within established guidelines.

Requirements

  • NMLS Certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.
  • Driver's License required.
  • Reliable transportation required.

Qualifications

  • 4 year college degree or equivalent retail banking or financial services experience.
  • Prior sales management experience required with increased levels of responsibility.
  • Prior lending experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in leading projects to a successful completion.
  • Business development & outside business sales experience required.

Unique Job Characteristics and Requirements

NMLS Certification required or ability to obtain upon hire. Travel more than 50%. Driver's License required. Reliable transportation required.

Tasks Performed

  • 45% Provides leadership and guidance to branch managers in the areas of: sales, business development and the successful operations of their branch. Ensures effective control of staffing and overall budgetary constraints.
  • 25% Builds a motivated and high performing branch team through the effective recruitment, training and development of staff.
  • 15% Represents the bank in the community and plays a leadership role on civic and community organizations.
  • 5% Maintains integrity and compliance within the branches in their region in accordance with audit and branch operations policies and procedures.
  • 5% Other duties as required, including but not limited to, making delivery system recommendations as it relates to branch expansion, relocations, closures/consolidations, ATMs, hour changes, etc.
  • 5% Submits loan proposals within guidelines. Registered and complies with Safe Act guidelines. Provides customer complaint resolution exercising sound judgment and decision making within established guidelines.

Physical Requirements

  • Communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers.
