About the role

As the Retail Experience Manager (RXM) at Fleet Feet, you’ll be at the heart of the store’s daily operations, leading with passion, supporting your team, and delivering a premium customer experience. You’ll mentor, motivate, and model what it means to go above and beyond for customers and teammates alike, driving performance and contributing directly to the store’s overall success.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop Outfitters (Retail Sales Associates) to be customer‑first and goal‑oriented.
• Set expectations, provide real‑time feedback, recognize achievements, and support individual growth.
• Manage sales‑floor operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and oversee the Fleet Feet Outfitting Experience.
• Address customer concerns with care and resolve challenges promptly and professionally.
• Cultivate a collaborative, high‑performance store environment through daily leadership and team engagement.
• Maintain consistent communication across team members to ensure alignment, clarity, and enthusiasm.
• Support and promote Fleet Feet’s events, programs, and community outreach efforts.

Requirements

• Proven retail management experience in a customer‑facing sales environment.
• Strong coaching, communication, and delegation skills.
• Comfortable managing inventory, schedules, and overall retail operations.
• Growth mindset with a desire to develop yourself and others in a fast‑paced, people‑centered setting.
• Accountability for team performance and store results.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift and carry 25–50 lb and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
