The Role
We are looking to add an experienced, motivated assistant foodservice director to our [Segment] team in [City]. As an assistant food service director, you will have the opportunity to assist with overseeing all culinary, safety and sanitation, and operations functions for the account.
What You'll Be Doing
- Recruiting, training, and retaining a large staffing team, including chefs, cashiers, baristas, cooks, and catering teams.
- Ensuring that the operation delivers high quality food and friendly service.
- Ensuring that the business runs in a professional, efficient, and profitable manner.
- Demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills with all employees.
What We're Looking For
- Must-haves:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years’ experience in a supervisory role.
- At least two years’ foodservice experience.
- A proven track record of financial responsibility.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Nice-to-haves:
- ServSafe Manager certification.
- An associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree.
