About the role

• Coach, inspire, and develop a team of 16+ Sales Floor Associates, Merchandisers, and Price Change Associates
• Merchandise creatively—no planograms—by building quality displays with your team
• Manage opening/closing duties and drive storewide results by engaging with customers and associates
• Spend 70% of your time on the floor supporting customers and the team while ensuring quality
• Resolve escalated customer issues with a win/win approach

Requirements

• 2+ years of retail management experience
• Experience managing 16+ direct reports while positively engaging associates
• Ability to innovate and ensure departments are optimally merchandised and organized
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with ever-changing product influx and high customer traffic
• Role model and leader of exceptional customer service
• Strong attention to detail, leveraging data such as sales reporting, shrink research, and retail schedules

Pay

$60k and up plus substantive and attainable bonus potential.

We're an industry leader in monetizing new, unclaimed, and excess inventory for premier U.S. companies. We sell this inventory through our well-known local retail store (10,000+ transactions/week), on-site bid sales (1,400+ bid lots/week), and online via eBay (3,300+ listings/week). We process over 1M unique SKUs each year, arriving in 40-60 trailer loads per week. The variety is vast, ranging from consumer items (clothing, laptops, designer purses) to commercial goods (rooftop air conditioners, restaurant ovens, airplane parts).
