Retail Loss Prevention Detective - FT

Job Responsibilities

• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Provide loss prevention support and awareness through policies, procedures, and personal involvement.
• Provide surveillance and assist police with apprehensions of shoplifters.
• Conduct store opening and closing procedures.
• Perform safety audits, safety, and fire prevention and inspections.
• Answer alarm responses.
• Perform insurance inspections and investigations.

Job Requirements

• Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills required to work with customers, management, and coworkers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in retail loss prevention, preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Availability to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, early openings, and late closings.
