About the role

McCarthy is hiring Retail Lead Generation Specialists to represent our HVAC and plumbing services inside national home improvement retail stores.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers in a retail store environment
  • Approach shoppers and start friendly, professional conversations
  • Ask questions to understand customers' home comfort needs
  • Educate customers about HVAC, plumbing, tune-ups, replacements, and indoor air quality solutions
  • Generate qualified leads and schedule in-home consultations or service appointments
  • Represent the ARS brand professionally and enthusiastically
  • Work toward individual and team lead-generation goals
  • Provide a positive customer experience from the first conversation

Qualifications

You don't need HVAC experience to be successful. We are looking for people who are:

  • Outgoing personality and willingness to speak with shoppers
  • Retail, kiosk, Door-to-Door, or sales experience preferred (not required)
  • Ability to stand and walk during shifts
  • Weekend and some holiday availability
  • Reliable transportation
  • Clean, professional appearance representing the ARS brand
  • Ability to attend weekly in-office meetings

Pay

$20.00 per hour + UNCAPPED commission. Earning potential: $22 – $30 per hour on average with commission.

Schedule

Flexible, weekends required, typically 10:00am - 5:00pm. Part-time and full-time opportunities available.

Benefits

Hourly pay + UNCAPPED commission, average earning potential of $20–$30/hour with commission, weekly pay through direct deposit, paid training, flexible part-time and full-time schedules, and opportunity to advance into HVAC Sales Advisor roles. No door-to-door canvassing and no cold calling.
