Retail Location – On-site, non-exempt position reporting to the Store Leader.

Responsibilities
- Cultivate an environment of genuine consumer connection by delivering exceptional, engaging, efficient, and personalized consumer experiences.
- Support the Store Leader in executing consumer experience program initiatives, Visual Merchandising, and Visual Standards to tell the Carhartt story at the retail level.
- Drive Associate Engagement by fostering a positive, collaborative team environment where associates can perform at their best daily.
- Develop, train, coach, and provide feedback to all associates using appropriate performance and talent management tools to ensure positive growth.
- Assist the Store Leader with leading timely and effective execution of store controls and operating standards, including policy and procedure administration, to ensure profitability and a safe work environment.
- Communicate operational data to the Store Leader, including product information (mix, trends, needs), local competition, local wages, and events.
- Support revenue-building strategies set by Corporate and the Store Leader, and monitor performance metrics to achieve or exceed store goals.
- Assist the Store Leader with external partnerships and event promotions for the benefit of the store.
- Support execution of community engagement events and engage with the local community to grow brand awareness.
- Assist the Store Leader with recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding of all store positions.
- Take ownership of individual development and professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
- 3 years of supervisory experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Experience in sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention.
- Experience in staffing, coaching, counseling, training, and development.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and communication skills.
- Exceptional team and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in POS Systems and Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Typical retail store environment.
- Extended periods of standing and typing on a computer.
- Moderate lifting (30-40 lbs).
- Retail hours, including evenings and weekends.
- National travel required (up to 5%).
- On-site location: Associate will work on-site for all work-related activities.
Pay
$24.30–$31.00 per hour.
