Retail Lead Associate (Reduced-Time), Customer Experience Operations

About the role

This role is available at Amazon's Locker+ retail locations and is part of the Customer Experience Operations (CXO) team. The role involves interacting with customers, managing inventory, providing peer-to-peer feedback, and contributing to continuous improvement of the customer experience and operations.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers by effectively using customer engagement strategies and modeling desired behavior for the team.
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and count products.
• Provide peer-to-peer feedback on processes and standards, serving as the escalation point to assist associates in solving customer issues, where appropriate.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the customer experience and operations by participating in the development of best practices.
• Help identify and communicate barriers and trends that contribute to the customer and associate experience and support the manager in building a strong site culture.
• Work with a manager to maintain the physical safety and quality standards of the site.
• Work in a fast-changing and ambiguous environment.
• Perform additional duties, as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• 1+ years of retail or customer-facing experience, or 1+ years of floor leader or leadership experience, or 1+ years of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience.

Pay

Starting pay is $19.70 per hour, including the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift selected. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.

Schedule

Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts can last up to 12 hours.

Physical Demands

Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Continuous climbing and descending stairs are also required.
