Retail Lead Associate (Reduced-Time), Customer Experience Operations

About the role

This role is available at Amazon's Locker+ retail locations and is part of the Customer Experience Operations (CXO) team. The team aims to provide convenient services for customers, such as the return of pickup and package deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers by using effective customer engagement strategies and modeling desired behavior for the team.
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and count products.
• Provide peer-to-peer feedback on processes and standards, serving as the escalation point to assist associates in resolving customer issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the customer experience and operations by developing best practices.
• Identify and communicate barriers and trends affecting the customer and associate experience, supporting the manager in building a strong site culture.
• Maintain the physical safety and quality standards of the site under the guidance of a manager.
• Work in a fast-changing and ambiguous environment, performing additional duties as assigned.
• Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently perform tasks such as pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, climbing, and descending stairs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years old
• 1+ years of retail or customer-facing experience, or 1+ years of floor leader or leadership experience, or 1+ years of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience

Pay

Starting pay is $18.05 per hour, including the highest available shift differential which varies depending on the shift selected. Final pay will be determined based on factors including shift selection and location.
