Retail Key Holder

About the Role

As a Key Holder, also known as a “Floor Leader,” you will take on an essential retail leadership role at Skechers. You’ll oversee daily store operations, support sales goals, and help maintain a premium shopping environment while mentoring your team to deliver exceptional customer service. This entry‑level management position offers opportunities to advance toward a Retail Manager career within the global Skechers brand.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide expert advice on Skechers products and ensure a great shopping experience.
• Supervise daily operations, including store opening and closing procedures, security protocols, and operational standards.
• Mentor and support team members in customer service, sales, and daily operational tasks.
• Contribute to achieving store and individual sales targets through effective selling techniques and product promotion.
• Execute merchandising plans, restock products, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Oversee stock and inventory routines and collaborate with store management on operational needs.
• Identify and resolve in‑store challenges proactively to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Requirements

• Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Problem‑solving skills to address in‑store issues.
• Highly organized to manage inventory, staffing, and operational tasks.
• Desire to foster a respectful, safe, and fun environment for employees.
• Comfortable mentoring team members and communicating with all levels of the store team.
• Acts with a sense of confidentiality and urgency.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
• Previous experience as a Key Holder, Shift Leader, or Retail Supervisor in retail, restaurant, or hospitality preferred (not required).
• Sales skills to drive revenue growth and meet targets.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.

Pay

Starting rate: $19.67 hourly. Range: $19.67 – $20.87 hourly.

Schedule

Varied schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
