Retail Full-Time Sales Lead, Fabletics (Westfield UTC - San Diego, CA)

Fabletics is seeking a Full-Time Sales Lead for our retail store at Westfield UTC in San Diego, CA. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting sales and operations, leveraging cutting-edge technology to bridge the gap between our website and retail stores.

As a Sales Lead, you’ll collaborate with a driven Store Manager, dedicated supervisors, and a passionate team to help customers live their passion. This is an opportunity for a self-starter with high energy who enjoys engaging with people and working toward bold business targets.

Responsibilities

• Embody Fabletics’ culture and values while providing customers with insights on how to live their passion.
• Engage customers in meaningful ways by sharing knowledge about fabrics, features, fit, and function of products.
• Drive customer engagement through store events, promotions, and community projects.
• Train and provide immediate feedback to associates on the Customer Experience Playbook and performance expectations (e.g., Customer Engagement, Omnicart, Member Chat).
• Work with the Store Manager to inspire associates to meet or exceed individual and team performance goals.
• Communicate inventory and training needs to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Maintain store-merchandising guidelines to create an easy-to-shop environment that adds value to the customer’s purchase journey.
• Actively participate in providing feedback to the Store Manager to continuously improve business operations.
• Strive for excellence in meeting and exceeding store objectives related to performance, productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Serve as a resource for general product knowledge to customers and team members.
• Maintain personal sales and achieve sales goals.
• Uphold all safety and security standards, identifying and communicating potential issues.
• Assist with unpacking inventory boxes, which may weigh 10-30 lbs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a retail environment.
• Prior retail management experience is a plus.
• Knowledge and familiarity with active lifestyle choices such as yoga, cycling/spin, Pilates, weight training, running, nutrition, and other healthy activities.
• Ability to socially interact with customers, employees, and business partners both inside and outside the store.
• Experience working with large teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to take initiative when opportunities arise.
• Familiarity with retail inventory and P.O.S. systems.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills and the ability to bring out the best in others.
• Ability to multitask, set priorities, and work well under pressure.
• Flexibility in work hours, including evenings, weekends, and national holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Demands

• Involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours.
• May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
