About the role

The FT Print & Copy Store Supervisor - Meal Break KC at Office Depot is responsible for providing comprehensive solutions to customers across Technology, Services, Furniture, and Print offerings. This role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, promoting Office Depot products and services, and supporting a customer-centric environment.

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture that builds trust, brand loyalty, and exceptional client service delivery.
• Utilize and understand the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional product and/or services solutions.
• Maintain awareness of planned advertisements and promotions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by educating customers about Office Depot products and services.
• Educate customers about Office Depot products and services.
• Evaluate the customer’s needs to determine the total solution.
• Lead and guide store associates, including Print Services associates.
• Facilitate training sessions on the business model and the holistic service offering for clients/customers.
• Observe, coach, and provide feedback to enhance associate proficiency and build a culture of trust and brand loyalty.
• Provide feedback to the General Manager regarding store associates' performance, certification(s), and competencies.
• Support operational efficiency by processing merchandise accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures, deadlines, and visual merchandising standards.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement plans to reduce waste and inefficiencies.
• Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, Average Order Value (AOV), and customer satisfaction improvement initiatives.
• Perform External Key Carrier responsibilities, including opening and closing responsibilities, activation and deactivation of the store's alarm system, cash handling, and daily store balancing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in related field, such as retail, sales, customer facing, and/or supervisory experience.
• Knowledgeable in the Technology and Print area.
• Ability to lead, coach, and manage others in a professional environment.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to work independently, as well as with others.
• Strong selling skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, necessary to establish a selling relationship with customers.
• Able to adapt to a changing environment.
• Ability to coach and train others in a professional environment.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess the ability to use technology and print equipment applicable to role, and to access information necessary to complete daily responsibilities.
• Possess ability to process information/merchandise through POS register system.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent education preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in related field, such as retail, sales, customer facing, and/or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge: Knowledgeable in the Technology and Print area.
• Skills: Strong selling skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to adapt to a changing environment, ability to coach and train others in a professional environment, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to use technology and print equipment applicable to role, ability to process information/merchandise through POS register system.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $19.50, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
