About the role
The FT Print & Copy Store Supervisor - Meal Break KC at Office Depot is a position focused on providing comprehensive solutions to customers across Technology, Services, Furniture, and Print offerings. This role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, becoming a trusted advisor on Technology products/services and print offerings, and driving sales of Office Depot's complete range of offerings.
Primary Responsibilities
- Foster a culture that builds trust, brand loyalty, and exceptional client service delivery.
- Utilize and understand the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional product and/or services solutions.
- Maintain awareness of planned advertisements and promotions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by educating customers about Office Depot products and services.
- Educate customers on how to use Office Depot products and services.
- Evaluate the customer's needs to determine the total solution.
- Lead and develop a team of associates, including Print Services associates.
- Facilitate training sessions on the business model and the holistic service offering for clients/customers.
- Observe, coach, and provide feedback to enhance associate proficiency and build a culture of trust and brand loyalty.
- Provide feedback to the General Manager regarding store associates' performance, certification(s), and competencies.
- Support the General Manager in providing guidance and effective coaching to associates for improved performance.
- Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, Average Order Value (AOV), and customer satisfaction improvement initiatives.
- Perform external key carrier responsibilities, including opening and closing responsibilities, activation and deactivation of the store's alarm system, cash handling, and daily store balancing.
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
- Experience in a related field such as Business, Retail Management, or another related field preferred.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in related field, including Retail, sales, customer facing, and/or supervisory experience.
- Knowledgeable in the Technology and Print area.
- Ability to lead, coach, and manage others in a professional environment.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to work independently, as well as with others.
- Strong selling skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, necessary to establish a selling relationship with customers.
- Adaptable to a changing environment.
- Able to coach and train others in a professional environment.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess the ability to use technology and print equipment applicable to role, and to access information necessary to complete daily responsibilities.
- Possess ability to process information/merchandise through POS register system.
Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $19.50, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
