About the role
The positions are full-time, pay $15/hr., and include full benefits. The store is located at 6002 E 38th St, Indianapolis, IN 46226.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently process customer transactions, maintaining accuracy and ensuring a balanced cash drawer.
- Strictly adhere to all cash handling procedures and protocols.
- Inform customers about Goodwill programs and services, offering assistance and general information.
- Direct more complex inquiries to the appropriate associate or manager.
- Keep the register area and assigned grocery aisles clean and well-organized.
- Welcome and greet customers with warmth and courtesy.
- Aid customers in locating products, providing details on availability, prices, and promotions.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Provide an easy, seamless shopping experience by keeping carts and baskets well stocked and clean for guests.
- Receive and unload merchandise from delivery trucks.
- Arrange products on shelves, racks, and displays according to company guidelines.
- Regularly rotate products to maintain freshness and remove expired items.
- Ensure shelves and displays are orderly and visually appealing.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Perform regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and wiping down counters.
- Keep equipment like shopping carts and hand baskets clean and in good condition.
- Dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas.
- Monitor inventory levels and promptly report low stock items to management.
- Aid in conducting routine inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Aid in the receiving and verification of shipments to ensure accuracy.

- Familiarity with computers and relevant software including basic computer and Internet navigation skills.
