Lead and coach a team of framers focused on building customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions. Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in designing memorable framing for their art.
Responsibilities
- Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; ensure execution of Company policies and standards; hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
- Develop and coach the team on selling behaviors.
- Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload in partnership with the Store Manager.
- Achieve your KPIs and manage the framing team to achieve their role KPIs.
- Review sales and production workload and build plans for sales floor time for networking.
- Manage and execute inventory management processes as assigned.
- Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
- Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
- Assist with interviewing, on-boarding, coaching, observing, and training new team members; support Talent Development activities; participate in Performance Management activities; utilize leadership competencies for self-development.
- Partner with MODs daily on framing expectations and other framers.
- Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; remain positive and respectful in difficult situations; promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values; project a positive image and serve as a role model.
- Participate in truck unload and stocking processes to ensure truck standards are followed and completed within budget.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure a safe environment.
- Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
- Assist with Omni channel processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills.
- Previous custom framing experience preferred.
- Retail management experience.
- Experience leading a sales team.
Physical Requirements
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
- Ability to move throughout the store.
- Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
- Lifting heavy boxes and frames and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Work Environment
Public retail store setting taking care of customers; all public areas are climate-controlled; some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled; some outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or while unloading trucks. Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
Pay
Total base pay range for this position: $18.25 - $23.30 per hour. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation in accordance with state and local laws.
