About the role

The Retail Store Floor Lead leads the sales team by example, forging connections with customers while communicating Vuori’s brand values through insightful product knowledge and an optimistic outlook. Reporting to the Store Manager, the Floor Lead supervises the retail floor, delegates work, and serves as the “go‑to” person for leadership duties, collaborating closely with the Assistant Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Create an unforgettable customer experience and ensure each customer receives the best possible service.
• Take ownership of the sales floor and prioritize customer experience.
• Prepare fitting rooms, locate sizes, and provide honest, knowledgeable feedback on merchandise style and fit.
• Engage customers about product details, new arrivals, and replenishment; invite them to upcoming events.
• Stay knowledgeable about new and best‑selling items and share insights with customers and the team.
• Lead day‑to‑day store operations when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is absent.
• Motivate the sales team and achieve sales goals in a team‑based commission environment.
• Seek new product knowledge in fashion and active‑wear to serve as an expert for customers.
• Lead the team in completing projects while maintaining focus on customer experience.
• Communicate inventory needs to support business goals.
• Assist the Retail Store Manager with daily maintenance, sales strategy, community outreach, and team management.
• Oversee daily store upkeep, including restocking, visual merchandising, and cleaning.
• Follow protocol and safety standards for opening and closing the store.
• Encourage punctuality, attendance, and full engagement from employees.

Qualifications

• Available for 8‑hour shifts, 5 days per week, with at least one weekend day; flexible for morning and/or evening shifts.
• Demonstrated punctuality and attendance reliability.
• Strong ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Expertise in customer service, creating experiences, and proactively handling concerns.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Quick learner of new procedures and processes.
• Strong organizational and follow‑through skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
• Eagerness to develop new skills and responsiveness to feedback.

Pay

Hourly range: $17 / hr – $20 / hr, plus team‑pooled commission.

Schedule

8‑hour shifts, 5 days per week, with availability for at least one weekend day; morning and/or evening shifts as needed.
