Focusing on interior finishes, interior architecture, permanent interior graphics, and fixture design, this project will involve the development of new interior spaces for Meijer stores. To gain alignment to new design concepts, actual Meijer business owners will be the reviewers of the intern’s designs, and a series of presentations will be scheduled resulting in a final presentation where the intern shares their approved recommendation. The works of previous retail design interns have become actual design elements that Meijer has implemented in our stores.
