Retail Customer Service - Orem University Crossing Rack

About the role

As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you'll be part of a dynamic team that ensures a welcoming and inclusive shopping experience for all customers. Your role involves continuous movement, teamwork, and flexibility to adapt to various store needs.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to keep the salesfloor "runway ready" through re-merchandising and straightening.
• Assist customers with transactions using a point-of-sale system, bagging items, and providing a seamless experience.
• Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers and managing the fitting room.
• Keep the store clean and organized by sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor and stockrooms.
• Support stockrooms by organizing merchandise and ensuring accurate ticketing.
• Demonstrate expertise in all store technologies and adhere to operational and merchandising standards.
• Promote Nordstrom Rewards and other initiatives.

Stock Support and Fulfillment

• Receive, unload, unpack, and deliver newly arrived merchandise.
• Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner, adhering to quality standards.
• Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments.
• Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Provide general support such as setting up special events, organizing backroom, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.

• The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting items above the head.
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
• Stock and Fulfillment Only: Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
