Retail Customer Service - Pacific Commons Shopping Center Rack

About the role

As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you'll play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and inclusive shopping experience for customers. Your responsibilities will vary depending on the department you join, but you'll be expected to ensure the store is clean and organized, assist customers, and adhere to operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Customer Service:
• Work with the team to keep the sales floor "runway ready" and assist customers with transactions.
• Create a smooth fitting room experience and sort returned clothing.
• Ensure the store is clean and clutter-free.
• Demonstrate expertise in all store technologies.
• Promote Nordstrom Rewards programs.
• Stock Support and Fulfillment:
• Receive, unload, unpack, and deliver new merchandise.
• Fulfill customer orders and pack them according to quality standards.
• Utilize inventory management systems to track shipments.
• Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Support the store with special events, markdowns, and fixture relocation.

Requirements

• The ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Physical Requirements:
• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting these items above the head.
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
• Stock and Fulfillment Only: Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
