About the role

The Store Consultant plays a crucial role in delivering a positive customer experience by utilizing consultative skills to anticipate and address customer needs. This position requires a deep understanding of FedEx Office's print, signs & graphics, and shipping product lines, as well as the ability to provide expert advice and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfills complex customer orders using order systems and provides accurate pricing information
  • Takes orders, coordinates activities in the Store, and provides product information
  • Operates and maintains a wide variety of equipment, moving boxes and equipment, stocking materials, managing the production queue and output, and managing complex projects
  • Manages retail supply, cleans, repairs, and stocks all retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies to ensure optimal performance and availability
  • Processes financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal, including handling cash and making change
  • Communicates effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members, ensuring an outstanding customer service experience
  • Maintains confidentiality of customer data and handles documents, media, and packages carefully
  • Reports regularly to work and maintains established business hours to support FedEx Office business operations

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • 6+ months of specialized experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift, lift up to 55 pounds, bend, twist, communicate effectively, and function in a fast-paced environment
