About the role

The Store Consultant is responsible for delivering a positive customer experience, utilizing consultative skills to anticipate and solve customer needs. They are knowledgeable in all aspects of the Store's operations, including printing, signs & graphics, and shipping. Key responsibilities include taking orders, managing inventory, operating equipment, and resolving customer issues.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfills complex customer orders using order systems and provides accurate pricing information
  • Operates and maintains a wide range of printing, binding, and shipping equipment
  • Coordinates activities in the Store, including managing the production queue and output
  • Manages retail supply and completes assigned tasks based on priority
  • Ensures all customer problems are resolved quickly and to the customer's satisfaction
  • Communicates effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly retail environment
  • Performs multiple tasks simultaneously, looking for opportunities to improve knowledge and skills

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • 6+ months of specialized experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand, lift 55 pounds, bend/twist, communicate effectively, and function in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and adhere to FedEx Office standards and policies

Qualifications
