General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fulfills instructions from supervisors and assists other team members in store functions
  • Trains store team members
  • Demonstrates consultative behaviors to understand and meet individual customer needs
  • Provides expert advice in printing, signs, and graphics, and recommends appropriate FedEx Office products and services
  • Ensures all customer issues are resolved promptly and satisfactorily
  • Takes complex customer orders, provides accurate pricing, and prepares goods for shipping
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and organized retail store
  • Ensures confidentiality of customer data and handles documents, media, and packages carefully
  • Processes financial transactions, including handling cash and making change
  • Cleans, repairs, and stocks retail store equipment and supplies
  • Stays updated on retail store merchandising materials and displays products and signage
  • Takes preventive measures to avoid errors and waste
  • Completes required financial paperwork and assists with financial reporting
  • Follows FedEx Office standard operating procedures and adheres to all policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • 6+ months of specialized experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Essential Functions

  • Ability to stand throughout the shift, excluding meal and rest periods
  • Ability to move and lift up to 55 pounds
  • Ability to bend, twist, and lift as needed
  • Effective communication with customers, vendors, and team members
  • Ability to work cooperatively and follow instructions
  • Attention to detail and ability to concentrate for long periods
  • Able to work independently and without constant supervision
  • Regular attendance and adherence to work schedule

  • Works with management to reduce costs and optimize profitability
  • Applies Quality concepts in daily activities
  • Supports FedEx Office Quality initiatives
