General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fulfills instructions from supervisors and assists other team members in performing store functions
  • Trains store team members
  • Demonstrates consultative behaviors to understand and address individual customer needs
  • Provides expert advice in printing, signs and graphics, and shipping product lines, and recommends appropriate FedEx Office products and services
  • Ensures all customer issues are resolved promptly and satisfactorily
  • Takes complex customer orders, provides accurate pricing, and prepares goods for shipping
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly retail store
  • Ensures confidentiality of customer data and handles documents, media, and packages carefully
  • Processes financial transactions using a POS terminal, including handling cash and making change
  • Cleans, repairs, and stocks all retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies
  • Stays updated on retail store merchandising materials and displays products and signage properly
  • Takes proactive steps to prevent errors and waste
  • Completes required financial paperwork and assists with financial reporting
  • Follows FedEx Office standard operating procedures and adheres to legal, HR, safety, customer service, and security policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • 6+ months of specialized experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Essential Functions

  • Ability to stand for entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods
  • Ability to move and lift up to 55 pounds
  • Ability to bend, twist at waist and knees, communicate effectively, cooperate, and follow instructions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure and maintain attention and concentration
  • Able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and adhere to FedEx Office standards
  • Able to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours

  • Works with management to reduce costs and optimize profitability
  • Applies Quality concepts in daily activities
  • Supports FedEx Office Quality initiatives
