Retail Customer Service Associate
About the role
The Store Consultant plays a crucial role in delivering a positive customer experience by utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions. They are knowledgeable in all aspects of the Store's business, including print, signs & graphics, and shipping.
Responsibilities
- Fulfills complex customer orders using order systems and provides accurate pricing information
- Takes orders, coordinates activities in the Store, and provides product information
- Manages the production queue and output, manages complex projects, and manages retail supply
- Operates and maintains a wide variety of equipment, moves boxes and equipment, stocks materials, and cleans, repairs, and stocks retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies
- Prepares parcels and goods for shipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels
- Communicates effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members, ensuring an outstanding customer service experience
- Reports regularly to work and maintains established business hours to support FedEx Office business
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- 6+ months of specialized experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand during entire shift, move and lift 55 pounds, bend/twist at the waist and knees, communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members, perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction, function in a fast-paced environment, maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time, work with minimal supervision, and report regularly to work and maintain established business hours
Qualifications
