Retail Customer Service Associate

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Fulfills instructions from supervisors and assists other team members in store functions
• Trains store team members
• Demonstrates consultative behaviors to understand customer needs and provide expert advice on printing, signs, and shipping product lines
• Provides an outstanding customer service experience by anticipating customer needs, suggesting alternatives, and finding solutions
• Takes complex customer orders, provides accurate pricing information, and prepares parcels for shipping
• Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly retail store
• Ensures confidentiality of customer data and handles financial transactions accurately
• Cleans, repairs, and stocks retail store equipment and supplies
• Supports the store’s merchandising efforts and prevents errors and waste
• Completes required financial paperwork and assists with financial reporting
• Adheres to FedEx Office standard operating procedures and policies

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 6+ months of specialized experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Essential Functions

• Ability to stand for entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods
• Ability to move and lift up to 55 pounds
• Ability to bend, twist, and communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
• Able to function in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention and concentration for extended periods
• Able to work with minimal supervision and adhere to FedEx Office standards
• Regular attendance and adherence to established business hours

Pay

$17.00 - $19.98/hr
