At a Glance Broad River Retail is currently seeking a Retail Construction Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and paints walls
• Conducts minor woodwork repairs, including types of refinishing
• Installs or repairs carpet
• Performs custodial duties as required
• Assists in the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems (i.e. plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning)
• Helps with large showroom projects like merchandise refreshes and store openings
• Assists in minor electrical work
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment
• Performs safety checks throughout the facility to ensure a safe and clean environment for the patrons of the showrooms to eliminate all hazards
• Other duties as assigned

Pay

Hourly Rate Paid Weekly. This position operates on a contract-to-hire basis.
