About the role
Responsible for managing inventory, assisting customers in finding books, and promoting store events.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels and ensure stock is replenished as needed.
- Assist customers in locating books and providing recommendations based on their interests.
- Promote store events and special offers to increase customer engagement.
- Handle returns and exchanges according to store policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
- One year of retail experience preferred.
- Experience with bookstores or similar environments is beneficial.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of bookstore operations and procedures.
