Retail Banker (Bolton Landing)
About the role
The Retail Banker I is a customer liaison that delivers TD's Brand promise by utilizing financial expertise and consultative advice to assist customers with their banking solutions/needs. This role contributes to the achievement of business objectives that enable growth through identifying appropriate TD solutions that help customers achieve their financial goals and optimize their relationship with TD.
Responsibilities
- Utilize financial expertise to identify opportunities to educate customers on TD products and services, and refer them to appropriate team members or internal Bank partners.
- Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend solutions that address their financial goals.
- Use CRM tools to assess customer needs, identify potential solutions, and drive targeted outbound sales activities.
- Resolve customer issues and escalate complex problems to senior colleagues.
- Manage customer relationships by maintaining a positive experience and fostering trust through educational content and tools.
- Facilitate customer transactions, including check cashing, deposits, transfers, and withdrawals, while adhering to operational policies and procedures.
- Advocate for customers by providing proactive insights and recommendations to enhance their financial confidence and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain an active NMLS registration status.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years' experience working with customers and/or sales in any capacity, or equivalent demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience.
- Teller experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to engage in customer conversations and educate them on products and services.
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to be concise, clear, and consistent.
- Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work.
- Ability to work independently and within deadlines.
- Sound judgment in decision-making and effective problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Notary license preferred.

- Active registration status with NMLS.

Pay
$22.50 - $29.00 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
