Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service to all guests.
  • Actively greet and welcome all guests into our carefully curated retail space.
  • Provide confident and friendly directional guidance to guests as they visit our retail space.
  • Support sales and service programs as directed by retail leadership.
  • Achieve goals to increase average transaction value, units per transaction, etc.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness of sales floor and stockroom areas.
  • Process sales transactions using point-of-sale (POS) system and appropriate cash handling procedures.
  • Follow defined check-in/check-out procedures.
  • Collaborate with tour guides in our historic venues to create souvenir photos.
  • Process photos for immediate display and sale.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years' experience in guest service, sales, and/or cash handling preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Speak and hear to communicate with guests and use both near and distance vision for operating the POS system, reading SKUs, and completing merchandising tasks.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods, including on uneven surfaces and while carrying items.
  • Frequently climb stairs throughout the venue and use ladders to access storage areas.
  • Regularly lift and carry up to 25 lbs., and occasionally sit, kneel, bend, and reach to stock merchandise.
  • Manual dexterity for tasks such as using a computer and handling merchandise.

Working Conditions

  • High-traffic retail and entertainment environments with large crowds and elevated noise levels.
