The Retail Sales Associate at our Wellhouse Spa is focused on creating an outstanding customer experience by fostering a positive, inviting, and fun environment. This role involves developing enthusiastic and knowledgeable sales professionals who understand client product presentation and shop standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver refined customer service while demonstrating strong and organized clienteling skills.
• Develop strategies and plans to achieve sales results through clienteling, superior customer service, and store events.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, shop standards, policy and procedure updates, and upcoming promotions and events.
• Ensure a consistent, quality experience for customers.
• Create custom gift assortments to accommodate guest needs.
• Resolve customer issues with outstanding service and diplomatic skills.
• Apply strategic thinking and personal ownership to continue sales growth.
• Coach, motivate, and support team members to achieve personal sales goals and growth.
• Maintain open lines of communication with the team and director, and participate in weekly meetings.
• Consistently implement the company’s visual presentation and merchandising standards.
• Work unsupervised in the absence of a manager or supervisor: take ownership of the shop and merchandise, stay on task, and take initiative to address needs in the shop or storage areas.
• Assist with monthly inventory of shops, storage areas, and satellite retail locations.
• Provide product feedback and suggestions to the buyer based on guest wants, needs, and suggestions.
• Work with the buyer and marketing to determine website, newsletter, and e-marketing of products.
• Maintain merchandise and shop, including restocking, receiving, shipping, and organizing.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Regular and consistent attendance is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service or retail.
• Capability to learn new computer software programs quickly.
• Solid computer and software knowledge: POS, Inventory systems, Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests, team members, and managers.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and company goals.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
