About the role

Effectively use product knowledge to sell all merchandise and adhere to the customer service program.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise, and providing outstanding customer service
• Operating cash registers
• Achieving individual sales goals
• Directing customers to merchandise within the store
• Increasing in-store sales
• Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor
• Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers
• Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts
• Adhering to all policies and security procedures

Requirements

• Six months to one year of cashier/retail experience
• Strong customer service skills
