Retail Assistant Store Manager

About the role

SalonCentric, a subsidiary of L’Oréal USA, is seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate is passionate about people and delivering exceptional customer service, loves hair and beauty products, and seeks out new products and training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Build a Great Team - Assist the store manager in developing high performing teams that exceed customer expectations. Recruit great talent and ensure all team members have the knowledge and tools for success.
• Set Clear Direction - Work alongside the store manager to establish and communicate a clear vision to the team. Champion company vision/goals and motivate the team effectively.
• Drive the Business - Support the store manager in creating new approaches to increase sales and profitability by identifying opportunities and acting quickly to address them. Analyze sales trends and share knowledge with the team.
• Lead with Passion - Take an active role in motivating the team and creating an environment of open communication. Share a passion for hair and beauty products and an out-of-the-box thinking attitude with the team.
• Influence and Inspire - Help create a positive, enthusiastic working culture within the store. Understand what motivates others and lead by example.
• Act with Integrity Always - Exhibit integrity in all words and actions, deliver on all commitments, and be highly trusted by the store manager and respected by the team.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 Years of retail leadership experience
• Self-directed with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Outstanding customer service, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to use computerized point of sale system, SAP experience preferred
• Must be able to work weekends
• 18 years of age and High School Diploma or equivalent GED, preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and walk about the store throughout scheduled shift
• A Cosmetology license is a plus, but not required

Salary Range

| From: $18.30 | To: $20.30 |
