Retail Assistant Store Manager

Job Description

The Retail Assistant Manager- II provides store leadership at the largest of our Goodwill store sites. They supervise staff who sort and grade incoming goods, and must demonstrate top-notch customer service skills in dealing with elevated customer issues.

Key responsibilities include:

• Hiring, scheduling, counseling, and terminating staff as requested.
• Ensuring production goals and sales goals are met.
• Closing store, reconciling cash with daily sales reports, and securing the facility for night.
• Preparing and maintaining records of store operations, including daily sales reports, cash deposits, and opening/closing reports.
• Cash register/customer service.
• Receiving, pricing, and stocking donations.
• (Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds).
• Hanging, inspecting, and tagging textiles and clothing in a production style setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Average of five years of progressive management experience.
• Experience in either a retail or production facility or a similar environment.
• Valid Drivers License Required.

$21.00 per hour.

Schedule

Stores are open Monday through Saturday from 10am-8pm and open at 11am on Sundays.
