About the role

The Retail Assistant Branch Manager position at Woodforest National Bank is a key role in driving sales and revenue goals, fostering customer relationships, and engaging with the community.

Responsibilities

• Aid the Manager in achieving branch sales and revenue targets by identifying, marketing, and recommending banking products and services.
• Create a positive and energetic atmosphere for Retail objectives and initiatives.
• Grow business deposits and loans through both inside and outside business calls.
• Enhance customer experience and strengthen the Bank's reputation by greeting, engaging, and building relationships with customers, community members, and retail partners.
• Lead and execute a community engagement strategy with a Community Development Relationship Manager.
• Inspire and coach team members to achieve their full potential and act as a positive role model.
• Perform every other duty as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience, or an Associate’s degree and 2 years of relevant and transferrable experience, or a Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of relevant and transferrable experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and experience.
• Prior supervisory experience is helpful.
• Previous instore banking experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be positive and engaging.
• Formal Education & Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
