Retail Assistant Manager
About the role
Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations in a dynamic and rewarding environment. Responsibilities
- Absorbs management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Assists the Store Manager in ordering merchandise, record keeping, including payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts.
- Supervises, trains, and develops Store Associates on Goodwill of Kentucky operating practices and procedures.
- Maintains a positive shopping experience by providing excellent customer service and ensuring a well-stocked store.
- Supports the Store Manager in loss prevention efforts.
- Fulfills all Company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of progressive experience in retail or manufacturing operations.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
- Prior management experience preferred.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store.
